Sherona King is a seasoned HR professional with over 18 years of progressive leadership experience in the public and private sectors in Jamaica. She holds the prestigious designation of SPHR, an MBA (HRM) from the University of the West Indies, a BBA (Business Management) from the University of North Florida, and Level 4 Certification in Public Procurement from the International Procurement Institute (INPRI).
As an HR professional with a penchant for business writing, Sherona is passionate about modernizing HR policies & practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. During her extensive career at Jamaica Producers Group and Ministry of Finance & the Public Service, she has also harnessed a mastery of skills in career coaching and mentoring, strategic planning & budgeting, public procurement and risk management. She is known locally and regionally for her contributions to Jamaica’s public sector HR transformation programme.
