Sherona King is a distinguished Human Resource professional, possessing over eighteen years of progressive leadership experience across both public and private sectors in Jamaica. She holds the esteemed Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation, an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of the West Indies, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Florida, and Level 4 Certification in Public Procurement from INPRI.
Throughout her career, Sherona has consistently demonstrated exceptional proficiency in business writing, analytical and people skills, which she has utilized to modernize human resource policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures. These contributions have served as foundational pillars for Jamaica’s Public Sector HR Transformation Programme. Her comprehensive expertise encompasses career coaching, mentoring, strategic planning, budgeting, public procurement, and risk management, thereby equipping her with a nuanced and diverse understanding of multi-sector strategic and operational requirements.
